About
Gerald Romine
Gerald grew up on a small farm in Prunedale, California. Living in a doublewide trailer
surrounded by old Quonset Huts that served as rentals, the Romine family raised cows,
pigs, goats, chickens and a host of other animals. Everyone had to learn many skills on
the farm only a few things that needed doing were hired out, so Gerald discovered
innovative ways to complete any task set in front of him. That part of farming had a lot
of similarities to the skills he learned as a real estate investor.
At 17, Gerald went to college but discovered books were not for him. At 18 he joined the
Marine Corps and served as an Air Traffic Controller. Three years later, Gerald married
his beautiful wife, Paolla, and a year after that Gerald left the Marine Corps knowing he
had to be an entrepreneur. With less than $5,000 to their names, the Romines moved
to a small timber town in Oregon. A few months later, The Average Joe had
bought dog, a 1912 house that needed a lot of work, and a beat up 1941 Dodge Powerwagon.
Hard to believe it was 1992!
In many ways, real-estate investor Gerald Romine has come a long way from the northern
California farm where he grew up. In other respects, though, its like he never left.
Farm life teaches you a lot of values that are lacking in todays society. It
has a way of keeping you grounded, no matter how successful you become.
Geraldss financial success is indisputable one month in 2002 he enjoyed
a six-figure cash profit but he insists that what drives him is something else.
One of the biggest rushes you get is helping others make money. he says. He
does this by teaching them to work with their brains, not their backs.
Gerald teaches people how to triple their income in half the time, using real-estate as a
vehicle and with no financial risk. There is little or no risk, says Romine,
who has been married for 12 years and has a son and a daughter. If you dont
write big checks, you arent taking a big risk.
Still, Gerald understands the skepticism of those who are hesitant to believe that
something so simple could be so lucrative. Thats why he looks forward to any
opportunity to educate others about his philosophy and his methods. I help a lot of
people get out of the 9-to-5 rut and where they want to be, he says. And all
of them have heard me say that money is neither good nor bad, its just a tool.
Theres a quote that I live by and that I really believe in, and it is this:
You can make money or you can make excuses, but you cant do both.
Its simple, and its true.
When hes speaking, you might see Gerald in a suit, but The Average Joe
prefers jeans and a tee shirt. Although he doesnt pluck chickens anymore, Gerald
knows how to buy and sell houses!
Dont let the chicken-plucker from Prunedale fool you
he was an air traffic
controller, is pretty savvy on the computer, and developed cutting-edge real estate
investment software. A farm boy at heart, he embraces computers, technology, and efficient
systems.
The Average Joe started with less than $5,000 to his name and looks forward to
sharing his success and knowledge hoping that with all of your God-given talents you
become as successful as your dreams allow! |
